Wordsworth Drive

Wordsworth Drive allotments have just 19 plots.  The entrance gate is easily missed but is found in between the houses.  The site itself is behind the houses and can also be accessed from the track that runs behind Ashgate Road.

There are no toilet facilities on this site

Soil type

Much of the surrounding low-lying area is marshland.  The soil parent material is alluvium: clay, silts, sand and gravel, with a soil texture of peaty clay.  Although fairly free draining, this does cause some areas of the site to become waterlogged in very wet winters.

There is no parking available on this site which must be accessed on foot.
