What to do in JUNE

June, the month of the Summer Solstice so time to start thinking about Autumn and Winter!

​

• sow broccoli, calabrese, swede, kale and winter cabbage

• pinch out side shoots from tomatoes

• harvest onion and garlic as leaves start to yellow

• keep planting salad for continuous cropping

• plant out courgettes, marrows and squashes now the danger of frost has passed
