Where to sow
Sow March to mid-May or August to September direct where they are to grow in shallow drills about 2cm deep and cover with soil or compost.

What next
Gradually thin out the seedlings so plants are about 15cm apart.  Keep well-watered otherwise they can bolt.

Top tip
Can be harvested as a baby leaf, semi-mature, or mature leaf for a variety of uses.
